About Rich Kroll

I'm the founder of SoloAgent. I'm not a therapist, and I don't have a clinical background.

What I bring is over 20 years in software engineering and technology leadership, most recently as Director of Engineering at Modernizing Medicine and VP of Engineering at Chewy, and earlier as CTO at Play2Pay. I also founded DevFeed, a software consultancy.

SoloAgent exists because I kept hearing the same story from therapists: leaving a group practice or an insurance panel is mostly a paperwork and business problem, not a clinical one, and there wasn't a system built to solve it. I'm building that system by talking to clinicians, reading their communities, and testing what I build with people actually going through the transition.

I write about what I'm learning on the SoloAgent blog. When a post touches clinical or field-specific territory, it's because I'm passing along what practitioners have told me directly, not claiming expertise I don't have.
